How has Africa's internal diversity and outside influences affected its development and ability to be a part of the modern global community?
During the 20th and 21st Centuries, Africa has been ripe with civil war, and often times, genocide. What main factors do you think have contributed to civil war in Africa? Are European influences, tribal differences, geographical factors, outside forces or other issues the key reason for civil unrest on the continent?
