When did the two countries first meet? Has one country exerted dominance over the other? What natural resources have been available in each country? Have these resources or land ever been the basis for their relationship?
I understand that South Africa was originally a Dutch colony that had some issues with the natives before the British came in. I know it eventually came to be a British colony, but I don't have nearly enough information otherwise. Please help!
