TITO SCHIPA e lucevan le stele.

We discovered this video in the trash can of a neighbor and viewed it and to our dismay we discovered this great artist unknown to us before the finding. The initial audio is Puccinis Tosca E lucevan le stele. The next clip is PRINCESITA from maestro Jose Padilla. The last clip is the aria "M'appari" from Martha Flotow. We appreciate the commentary contribution to this clip by the son of Alfredo Sadel. TITO SCHIPA was born in Lecce in 1989 and debuted in 1915 in La Scala de Milan. His first professional performance was in 1917 in Puccinis La Rondine. In 1913 he performed in EL TEATRO COLON de Buenos Aires. This theater opened in 1908 as the biggest opera house of the world at that time. Tito was loved by all people in Central and South America and people took him as one of their own because his name Tito was very popular in many Latin American countries. We are bringing this video for educational purposes so that our new generation learned about the good music that was performed many years ago.
