How many times did you hear growing up "finish your dinner there are starving children in Africa" Imagine if we had a vacuum shoot to Africa where we could throw our waste? Then Africa would have plenty of left overs, but our homeless might starve some.
BTW i know this is unrealistic because of cost and physics, it's more of a what if thing.
