Jinbi Huanggong, an inland river pleasure boat, cruises on the Yangtze River near Chaotianmen port in Chongqing, Nov 17.

The sightseeing boat, which is 60 meters long and can hold 600 passengers, will embark on its maiden voyage Friday. It is known for its splendid ancient Chinese style decor, which cost 33 million yuan ($5.2 million).

Chongqing is an inland port city that is intersected by the Jialing River and the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
