I have been accepted to go on exchange for a semester in Durban, South Africa. I understand that it is not the safest country but I still really want to go. Many people are trying to talk me out of going because it is too dangerous there. I just want to know other people's opinions on the area and if they think it is safe or not. I am a girl and I have heard a lot of horror stories about rape and jackrolling occurring there. Does anyone have any experience or advice?
