Does anyone find comparisons between African immigrants & African Americans acheivements annoying?

I dislike it when people say, "African immigrants do well, why don't African Americans--they must be lazy"

If you are going to use immigrants from poor countries as the standard to measure work ethic, then almost everyone indigienous to America is lazy, including Whites who fall behind Asain & African immigrants in academic acheivement. When Blacks from other countries do better than Blacks from America, it;s not because Black Americans are lazy, it's because AMERICANS are lazy, including Whites.
