"Beyond the Epic Run" is a feature length documentary film about a Swiss couple who live their dream to run around the world. Together, Serge and Nicole Roetheli leave for an adventure that leads them through Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the United States, testing their boundaries, strengthening their minds and challenging their bodies. Running a marathon every other day, Serge the endurance sports runner runs approximately 25000 miles in five years, while wife Nicole films him with their personal camera on her Yamaha motorcycle. Excerpts from her personal diary reveal experiences and accomplishments throughout their journey together.
