What is a great African American cultural artifact?
For my Pan African American history class, we need to bring in an artifact. I have talked to a couple of African American friends, but they could not really think of anything. Now before I get comments about how this is not a place for homework, it is part of the assignment that we talk to others and I was wondering to see what you guys would think is a good artifact to either bring into class or a picture of the artifact. I need to be able to relate it to the African American culture from between 1865 and present. Anyone have any suggestions?

My friend keeps praying for African kids to starve, and God keeps answering. How can I stop them?
I was asking about this earlier, and I prayed for the African kids not to starve.
God keeps ignoring me while he keeps answering my friend's prayer.

What are some other Ancient African civilizations that were equivalent to the success of Egypt?
I hear a lot Egypt this and Egypt that but what about the rest of Africa. Is the rest of the continent lost to antiquity? What great African civilizations are there that could rival the success of Egypt in ancient times.
I'm not a student who's cheating on homework like Aaron suggests.
